Telindus and Up Luxembourg Join Forces to Integrate Digital Meal Voucher Solution into Apsal
Telindus and Up Luxembourg have teamed up to offer an innovative response to the changing needs of businesses and their employees. This collaboration aims to provide a more modern and flexible solution, facilitating the integration of digital meal voucher management into the Apsal ecosystem, Telindus’ comprehensive payroll management solution.
The new meal voucher scheme announced by the Luxembourg government on June 9, 2023, mandates the digitalization of meal voucher management by January 1, 2025, which has sparked growing interest in electronic meal voucher management solutions. This collaboration between Telindus and Up Luxembourg addresses this regulatory evolution by offering a user-friendly and adaptable solution to the changing needs of businesses and their employees.
The digitalization of the meal voucher system reduces administrative burdens for companies by eliminating the manual distribution of vouchers and simplifies daily management for restaurateurs and merchants. The old paper meal vouchers remain usable until the end of 2024.
Up Luxembourg is already collaborating with leading local companies such as Cactus to facilitate the transition to the digitalization of meal vouchers. Its goal is to reduce the administrative burdens associated with managing meal vouchers while facilitating access to social benefits through a payment card and a unified platform.
As part of this new collaboration, Telindus and Up Luxembourg have worked together to integrate data exchange related to the digitalization of meal vouchers into the Apsal ecosystem, a tool that enables all activities related to payroll processing and management. The goal is to facilitate data exchange between the two platforms while including payroll management through the integration of data provided by the Up platform. The integration will allow Up Luxembourg clients who use the Apsal solution to benefit from an innovative and intuitive interface for managing their social benefits.
“We are delighted with this collaboration with Up Luxembourg in the context of the digitalization and dematerialization of meal vouchers, aiming to facilitate data exchange between our Apsal solution and their platform,” said Jean Calçada, Deputy Director Apsal/Gesall Telindus. “This collaboration demonstrates our ongoing commitment to providing innovative solutions that simplify the daily lives of businesses and their employees.”
Alicia Brun, Country Manager of Up Luxembourg, adds: “This collaboration between Up Luxembourg and Telindus represents a significant advancement in our commitment to providing our clients with modern and practical solutions for managing their benefits in kind. We are convinced that Apsal, Telindus’ reference software for payroll calculation, constitutes a valuable asset for our clients as we move towards the digitalization of meal vouchers for all.”
Telindus and Up Luxembourg are joining forces in an innovative approach to meet the evolving needs of businesses and their employees in the face of the imminent digitalization of meal vouchers, in compliance with digitalization legislation. Their integration into the Apsal ecosystem offers a solid and flexible approach, simplifying the management of benefits in kind. This collaboration illustrates the ongoing commitment of both companies to provide innovative, practical, and forward-thinking solutions to effectively support businesses in their transition to modern and efficient administrative management.
